Council public programs are extended throughout Northern California via our regional Chapters located in the East Bay, Marin, the Peninsula, and Sacramento. The East Bay, Marin, and the Peninsula Chapters were founded in the 1960s and 1970s. The Sacramento Chapter, formerly the World Affairs Council of Sacramento, was founded in 1948. These Chapters are now an integral part of the Council, enabling us to offer an additional 40 to 50 programs per year.
