Overview

The World Affairs Council of Sacramento (WACS) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization dedicated to building awareness and understanding of world issues among the public. As our nation redefines its role in the world, the need for a more fully informed and engaged citizenry has grown. With a network of over 85 Councils in nearly every major city throughout the country, the Council system has become the largest international affairs nonprofit organization in the United States working to address the need for more global understanding in America.
