The World Affairs Council of Northern California - Sacramento Chapter is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to engaging our community in an impartial exploration of foreign and domestic issues of global, cultural, and educational interest. 2008 marks our 60th year in Sacramento since our founding!

We recently converted from an Affiliate to a Chapter of the World Affairs Council of Northern California in San Francisco. The mission of the regional Chapters is to assist the World Affairs Council of Northern California in furthering its objective of engaging the public in the exploration of issues and opportunities that transcend borders. The Chapters, also located in the East Bay, South Bay and North Bay, organize program activity in regional areas outside of San Francisco.

The excitement that our members bring towards connecting with friends, students, educators, business leaders, and policy-makers during our programs creates a forum for entertaining global discourse and an opportunity for further enlightening international issues in the Sacramento Region.
